Lo-Cart

This was a major project during university. The group I was a part of was tasked with creating a new product for the company, Giant Foods. It was a mock creation and not actually handed out to them. All the steps necessary in app production were created as our deliverables. From Gantt charts to personas, we succeeded in making a detailed layout. My role in the project was as a designer like everyone else but I also designed how the system's backend would work. The system would have used a Bluetooth grid array for in-store navigation. The grid would connect to the smart cart and aid shoppers in finding products. A big part of the system would connect stock guns so item destinations could be added.
